Elta George was born and raised on the beautiful Nature Island of Dominica, West Indies. She is a wife who has been married for 43 years to Pastor Patrick George, Pastor of Island Baptist Church, on the beautiful paradise Island of St. Croix U.S.V.I. Elta is a mother of five lovely children and nine beautiful grandchildren.

Elta is a devoted Christian leader who has served in various ministry roles for 36 years. Her duties include New converts class teacher, Training faithful women teacher, Women’s Ministry teacher, Outreach Ministry Director, Youth Choir director, Active Counselor, Conference Speaker. She has 27 years of teaching experience and presently owns George’s Christian Academy and Happy Children Preschool located at #126F Estate Whim, Frederiksted, St. Croix U.S.V.I . The school serves K-2 through 6th grade, utilizing the ABEKA Curriculum
