Darrell Yancey boldly proclaims the word of God. God’s anointing rests upon him as he ministers a powerful word designed to impact the world. Beginning at the age of 7 years old in his hometown of West Helena, AR, he accepted his call to the ministry and began preaching throughout the city.
God began to open doors of evangelism for this aspiring minister and lead him on a path of ministry that lead him through West Helena, Little Rock, Warren and ultimately delivering him to the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. When he is not on the road sharing God’s word through song, he can be found preaching every Sunday morning at Turning Point Ministries where he is the Founder and Overseer.
In February 2009, Apostle Yancey was blessed to receive an Honorary Doctorate of Divinity from the Christian Bible Institute and Seminary, which is an affiliate with the International Institute of Church Management, Inc. In June of the same year, he received a Honorary Doctorate of Music from the Dallas/Fort Worth Bible Institute and Seminary.
Apostle Darrell Yancey is also on the Executive Board of Bishops of the
National Assembly of Christian Churches and Ministries
Fellowship Inc. The latest mandate Apostle Yancey has
received has been to develop and serve as the Presiding
Apostle over the Kingdom Covenant Fellowship of
Churches. This being established to bring Apostles,
Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers
together for the perfecting of the saints to do
the work of the Lord until we
all come into the unification of the faith.
